Finding “Alaska On the Go”

Happy spring, folks! With the warmer weather and longer days comes a lot of planning for family adventures, and Alaska On the Go: Exploring the 49th state with children is proving to be a effective tool. After several signings, presentations, and requests for interviews, I’m happy to say the book is doing well, but even more than that, it’s truly helping people enjoy Alaska with their kids.

Where can one find a copy of Alaska On the Go? Below is a list of bookstores and retail outlets who stock the book. The list is ever-changing, so be sure and check back often, and keep tabs on the blog, too, for I’ll do my best to keep everyone up-to-date.

Thanks, as always, for supporting our adventures. It’s a great way to kick off summer 2014.

Alaska On the Go is currently (or will be soon) available at:

Title Wave Books, Anchorage

REI Anchorage (and soon, Fairbanks)

Barnes & Noble, Anchorage (and soon, Fairbanks)

Walgreens, all Anchorage stores

Costco, both Anchorage stores

Alaska Railroad gift shop, Anchorage

Alaska Geographic stores (found in all Public Lands Information Centers and many outdoor-themed visitor centers, statewide)

Homer Books

Not bad, Alaska. Not bad at all.

I wish this book had been available when I first visited Alaska... especially with 4 children.

Next time I'll have a signed copy in hand!
