It feels good to be back on your blog roll, AKontheGO’ers. After a week of blogging silence, AKontheGO is back, and with a completely new look!
We’re bigger, bolder, and decidedly Alaskan, as evidenced by the mama bear and her cub hanging out in a tree on the splash page. That black bear family, by the way, was hanging around at Anan Wildlife Observatory near Wrangell, in the southeast section of our state.
Next week, AKontheGO’s storytelling will commence in earnest, giving you all the best in Alaska family travel information. But for now, take a little tour of some new features; read about our family, view some photos (or add your own), check out the new Family Friendly Business program, and peruse our Packing List. It’s all good stuff!
Don’t forget about our big Launch Party and Open House, Thursday, June 28, either! Meet AK Fam at Salmon Berry Tours between 5:30-7:30 p.m. and help us celebrate almost four years of family travel in Alaska. We’ll have some great prizes, activities for kids, adult beverages, and excellent snacks prepared by some special friends. We’ll also formally introduce the new AKontheGO.com site with some splash and pop for your viewing pleasure!
Thank you for your continued support of AKontheGO. Family travel in Alaska should always be this much fun!
